May 6th Bank Holiday 2013

Well today the weather was really fantastic. I took Anita to her parent's house in Chirk and we went for a walk (me with camera in hand as usual). I took a few shots whilst coming over the Horse shoe pass on the way. The Ponderosa was packed with bikes as usual.

Then a trip to Glyn Wylfa in Chirk, to check out a it's potential for gallery/other use. I think it looks pretty good, what do you think?

Then we had a walk around Chirk itself. I dropped my shades so I had to go around again on my own looking for them.

Then I went out to the Three trees in Chirk, looking for a Panorama shot, here is the view from a field on the south bank of the Dee valley looking over Llangollen.

Then on our way home. This looks like an HDR image but it is just two exposures of the same shot blended together using a simple layer mask. I did do a version run through HDR software but it just didn't have as much detail.
